Photo and Video at Events

This document describes photo and video recording at the events of Odessa Fashion Day® (OFD®), Summer Weekend by OFD® and Odessa Fashion Night® (the “events”) and the use of images of people on the website ofd.org.ua, on OFD social media and in materials for the media.
1. The events are public
Shows, presentations, lectures and other OFD events are public. Photographers and videographers of OFD, partners and accredited media work at them. By attending an event you accept that you may appear in general views, reportage photos and videos.
Recording and the use of images follow Articles 307 and 308 of the Civil Code of Ukraine and the legislation of Ukraine on copyright and related rights.
2. How we use the materials
- the gallery and season albums, news, designer and project pages of the Website;
- OFD social media, show videos, season announcements and results;
- press releases and press centre materials for the media;
- partners’ materials about joint events;
- the season archive — without a time limit.
We do not use images of people to advertise third-party products without separate consent.
3. Participants of the shows
Models, designers, volunteers and other participants, by sending an application, agree that their images from the shows, backstage, fittings and rehearsals are used to cover the event and in the OFD archive. Participation of models and volunteers is unpaid (TFP format) unless agreed otherwise in writing; participants may use the photos in their portfolio with a credit to OFD and the photographer.
4. If you do not want to be filmed
- Tell the photographer or the organizers on site — we will try not to take close-ups of you.
- If you see a photo or video of yourself on the Website or OFD social media and want it removed, write to [email protected] with a link to the publication. We will review the request and remove or replace the material on our resources within a reasonable time.
- We cannot delete materials already published by third parties (media, partners, other users), but we can pass your request on to them.
5. Minors
Recording minors and using their images is governed by the Minor Consent.
6. Authorship and use by others
Copyright in photos and videos belongs to their authors or to OFD. Others may use OFD materials with written permission or within the limits of the Terms of Use (in particular, the media — to cover the events with a credit to the source and the author).
