Ahead of Odessa Fashion Day Season 32, Odesa hosted a small FASHION TALK | Networking Event — a relaxed meet-up for people who work in fashion (and those just stepping into the industry). It was about real conversations, shared experience, and the kind of introductions that often turn into future collaborations.
Held on 29 March at MarAmax Institute, the event brought together designers, industry professionals, creative young talent and everyone interested in how Odesa’s fashion scene is developing in Ukraine.
The format was intentionally simple and open: less “presentation”, more dialogue — with space to ask questions, share ideas, and speak to one another properly.
As part of the programme, Hanna Liashenko spoke about how personal style influences self-expression and professional growth. A key visual moment of the evening was the presentation of a capsule collection by Ukrainian brand SEMENENKO, shown with models from the Totalité agency — a clear reminder of how current and confident Ukrainian design feels today.
The atmosphere was lifted by a DJ set from Maryna Shtelmashuk, while a welcome drink from event partner ODESA Wine made networking feel easy and natural.
Visual coverage was delivered by photographer Valeriia Medvedieva and videographer Yelena Konstantinova. The concept and delivery of the event were led by Oleh Shkilniuk and Yelyzaveta Shats.
The event was supported by media partners including COOL’BABA magazine, Prominent Magazine, the FASHION TV channel, Studio of My Dreams News, but.in.ua and Odesa Media.
More than a pre-season gathering, FASHION TALK became a meaningful step towards building an active fashion community in Odesa — a space for new connections, ideas and opportunities. Odessa Fashion Day continues to grow its platform for designers and industry professionals, creating room for professional development and creative collaboration.
