At the end of April 2025, Odesa hosted the 30th anniversary season of Odessa Fashion Day (OFD) — an independent platform that has been supporting young designers and shaping new faces of Ukrainian fashion for more than 15 years.
Odessa Fashion Day is a comprehensive platform that promotes industry development and unites shows and presentations, education, and social initiatives. A series of lectures, public discussions, networking events, and a temporary showroom together create a space for knowledge exchange, support of emerging designers, the formation of socially responsible and sustainable businesses, and the implementation of responsible cultural practices. Here, fashion becomes a tool for dialogue, reflection, and action.
“Season 30 is not just an anniversary for us—it is proof that even in difficult times the fashion industry in Ukraine develops and moves forward. Dozens of shows, hundreds of guests, a pop‑up store, lectures, and discussions—an intense and varied programme, and most importantly, a genuine energy of unity. OFD is a platform for ideas, meanings, and people who are shaping the future of fashion right now,”
noted Konstantin Leontiev, founder of Odessa Fashion Day.
On the first day, within the walls of the Odesa Academic Theatre of Musical Comedy named after M. Vodyanoy, Ukrainian designers and brands presented their collections: Temoin, Lady Forever & La Julia, ALVO, Lady Forever & Iris, VEO BRAND, YANKOVSKA, MAGNAT_DRESS, HOLIDAY & NOVE, YouareUnique.brand, DIIEVA, HEART RATE, MINT & VERDONI & Vzutik, Nimble Scissors та ATLAN.TYDA.
On the second day, the Luxury Gallery in the shopping centre “Sady Peremohy” became a fashion platform for Ukrainian brands SEMENENKO, LE GRETES, MOGARDI. A multibrand show “Sady Peremohy” and the shows of Marella and Max&Co took place as part of a special presentation by Invogue Fashion Group. The day concluded with an exclusive evening event—the presentation of the new perfume OH La La from AMOURSKY and a special cocktail by Flacon Bar, held in the atmospheric space of Flacon Bar.
On the final day, a series of public talks was held at Art Cluster MOST CENTER, bringing together fashion industry experts. Olena Heyder and Nataliia Lukianets shared experience and insights on sustainable brand development and the role of fashion in times of war. Olena Heyder spoke about how a brand can grow even during crises, while Nataliia Lukianets discussed the transformation of the fashion industry under wartime conditions and the social responsibility of brands. In the evening, Olena Kosenko delivered a lecture on contemporary fashion and style in her own Nimble Scissors.
For four days, MOST CENTER hosted a POP UP designer space — a temporary showroom where guests could see, try on, and purchase items from the current seasonal collections, meet designers and brand founders, and feel part of a living fashion ecosystem.
The event once again confirmed that Odessa Fashion Day is more than a fashion runway. It is the cultural heart of the city. A project that began as a local initiative has, over the years, become a launchpad for more than 500 designers, many of whom now represent Ukrainian fashion on the international stage.
The social mission of the anniversary season was to raise funds for the Charitable Foundation “Children of Heroes”, which supports more than 12,700 children who have lost parents because of the war. Every contribution became a gesture of support, involving guests and participants of the shows in an important social initiative.
