For two July days, Odesa has become the home of the large-scale fashion festival Summer Weekend 2016. On 21–22 July, Otrada Beach Club is hosting runway shows by contemporary Ukrainian fashion designers.
It is worth noting that the annual summer fashion project Summer Weekend is organised with the support of the non-commercial public organisation Odessa Fashion Union and is held under the umbrella of Odessa Fashion Day.
The aim of the event is to present cruise collections of clothing, footwear, and accessories by Ukrainian designers. Summer Weekend is intended to highlight the work and quality of Ukrainian fashion, while also presenting collections by international designers.
The main focus is placed on the collections and work of Odesa designers.
Within the Summer Weekend by OFD project, guests can visit the Fashion Shopping Place — a market zone where they have the opportunity to view and purchase items by Ukrainian designers. In addition to the shows, the event also includes conferences and masterclasses on various topics.
