This autumn, Ukrainian Fashion Week makes its grand return to Kyiv. Following four International Seasons held on the runways of international partners in London, Copenhagen, Los Angeles, Lisbon, Berlin, and other cities as part of the “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative, the Ukrainian Fashion Week team has decided to host the 55th season of UFW from September 1-4 in Kyiv.
United, Ukrainian designers and Ukrainian Fashion Week have successfully navigated the past four seasons, representing Ukraine to the world and ensuring the sustainability of the Ukrainian fashion industry. In the face of the destruction and devastation brought by the Russian war, Ukrainian designers continue to create.
“Our resilience is a testament to the strength of the fashion industry, the solidarity, and the unbreakable spirit of Ukrainian designers. We firmly believe that Ukraine’s essence cannot be imagined without the creativity of our designers. Our mission is to showcase our creative power and Ukrainian resilience to the world. Therefore, we have made the decision to bring Ukrainian Fashion Week back to Kyiv to support the fashion industry in the country and inspire them to continue creating. Despite the missile strikes, air raid sirens, and daily challenges, we must create and develop. And the voice of Ukraine will continue to be heard,” said Irina Danylevska, co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
Ukrainian Fashion Week will also continue to implement the International Seasons format within the framework of the “Support Ukrainian Fashion” Initiative, through which Ukrainian designers will present their collections in Berlin, Copenhagen, Budapest, and other European fashion capitals this season.
